Dietary

Dietary Restrictions and Religious Requirements Form

Allergies & Other Dietary Restrictions: Seven Ranges Scout Reservation will make every reasonable accommodation to campers with dietary restrictions and/or allergies. To better serve you, we require that you provide documentation from a physician in addition to your annual physical, to include the following: Allergen - Type of allergy - Severity - Reaction Needed - Emergency Response. When the camper completes the medical check, they will be asked to complete the dietary restrictions form and provide documentation from the doctor. At this time, the medical staff will verify that we have all the information needed. Campers who are unable to eat in the dining hall due to severe allergy issues may be given alternative dining accommodations. 

Good Turn Weekend (GTW)   

What is the significance of the "Good Turn Weekend" ?
Basically, Our Troop is doing something "Good" for Seven Ranges Scout Reservation to "earn" our place in the Pipestone Honors Program at Summer Camp.  This might mean cutting and stacking wood ; or, this might mean trail maintenance ; or, this might mean painting utility buildings around camp, etc., etc. ... Our Troop's GTW this year (2023) at Seven Ranges runs from Fri. May 12 thru Sun. May 14.

What if a Scout is unable to attend the GTW Camp weekend that the Troop attends ?
That Scout will have to make-up the "service hours" earned at GTW Camp at Summer Camp. -and that can be problematic because a Scout's Schedule at Summer Camp can be very full.
Can a Scout earn these Pipestone Honors Program "service hours" somewhere else besides Seven Ranges ?  No. -because these "service hours" are our way of saying "Thanks!" to Seven Ranges for the Pipestone Honors Program put on at Summer Camp!  

Medical Forms for Summer Camp  

Medical Form ->  medical-form-for-Summer-Camp ...and, don't forget that we need copies of your Family's Health Insurance Card (front-and-back). 

Medications while at Summer Camp  

Medication: Any scout who needs to take medication while at camp should have it labeled and in its own container with dosages and when it is to be taken. All medication and related instructions must be given in writing to Mr. Nudo on Sunday, July 17th. Unless under doctor’s orders, scouts will not be allowed to possess medications. They will be administered by adult leadership during camp per instructions given. The scouts, however, are responsible for coming to their assigned adult to receive medications as prescribed.
